Jonathan Schell Wins Award at Thinking Outside the Bomb Conference

Where: Sheraton University City, Philadelphia
When: 9 am
Senior Fellow Jonathan Schell will accept the 2008 John and Chara Haas Award for International Peace and Social Justice at 6 p.m. during the Project for Nuclear Awareness conference, Thinking Outside the Bomb. The Award will be presented by Dr. Michael McCally, PSR national director, introduced by Ed Aguilar, executive director of PNA. Jonathan Schell will then give a keynote speech at the dinner.

This one-day, multidisciplinary conference, with a dozen conference partners, aims to "connect the dots" on the environment, nuclear weapons and global action on health. It brings together experts, activists, advocates and interested citizens, for a critically-important discussion for Earth's future.
